The Artists’ Alliance (AA) at Jarrett Thor Fine Arts is thrilled to present new artworks by painter Kathleen Walsh. Featuring floral images, Kathleen celebrates the world around us with her colorist style. Meet Kathleen Friday June 10 from 5-9 PM.

She describes her approach to painting Cherry Blossoms; “Painting a branch, one becomes aware of its subtle color changes. A branch is not brown, but blue and gray with hints of red.” She is also a sophisticated user of negative space. “It is the empty space which is never empty but full of delicate variations of color, tone, and texture.” See her show this June through July 3. Additionally, AA members display their painting, photography, glass works, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, and wood furniture. Carl and Joyce Thor continue to sell their art in the adjoining galleries. The gallery is located at 100 Taylor St., Suite 101, in Colonial Beach and is open Friday – Sunday, 11-5.
