Rita Kovach

I am originally from Panama. My dad encouraged me to go to college in the US. I received a Bachelors degree at Barry University in Miami, FL and a Masters in Art Education at Pratt Institute in NY. I’ve been teaching and doing art for many years now. I still teach and create art even after retirement.

 

I am in awe of creation. I love nature and gardening; beaches and landscapes. I am often inspired to capture the beauty around me on my canvas.  Sometimes I’m moved to paint portraits especially of our daughter and our grandchildren.
