The Alexander Graham Bell House in Colonial Beach, has long been a favorite subject, not only for its striking towers along the expanse of the Potomac River, but for memories of a weekend stay there with my sister Cindy. Built around 1883, its grounds in modern times served as the venue for the Colonial Beach Croquet Tournament.
