"Greetings from Croatia" is one of a series of oil and pastel paintings I've completed over several years inspired by the pastel colors of vintage postcards. During COVID I completed 14 oil paintings based on Washington DC monuments, currently on display at The Hill Center in Old Naval Hospital. This past year I've drawn inspiration from vintage postcards with sailboat themes, including some from distant lands like Croatia and Japan.
