Carrots

Many years ago, while visiting my friend in LA, we went to a Farmers Market. It was a beautiful day! As we were strolling along, my eye caught a blue tablecloth covered with gorgeous multicolored carrots. I took a photo and knew that someday I would paint these colorful jewels.
