After relocating to Colonial Beach in 2012, Lee staged a solo show, "Bay to Blue Ridge" at Jarrett-Thor Fine Arts Gallery in March of that year, followed by solo shows at Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce and Virginia Fisheries Commission.

Her work has been accepted in national shows including Fredericksburg Center For Creative Arts (Silversmith Gallery) and The Art League of Alexandria.  Other juried shows to her credit have included Art In City Hall (Alexandria), Art Speaks on the Bay, Potomac River Regional Art Center Show, Rehoboth Beach Plein Air Show, Mattawoman Creek Art Center, Art at Aldie Mill, and James Madison University's 10-year Commemorative Exhibition (Harrisonburg.)

A work was also selected for a national exhibition of work of southern women entitled "Steel Magnolias" at Soho Gallery (Pensacola, FL.)  Before joining Artists' Alliance Lee operated an independent studio at the Lorton Arts Workhouse, the reclaimed federal prison complex that infamously housed some of the Suffragettes in the early 1900s.  Her work is held in numerous private collections worldwide. Locally her work may be viewed at The Tides Inn Market and The Art of Coffee (Montross) in addition to this space.
